WERNER MÜLLER - "the strip goes on" LP (DECCA early 70s)this LP actually never shows up, even when you think this is an easy to find german big band 1,- euro flea-market record. you have to pay a special amount of money to have it in your collection..... i was searching for years. the cover is quite adventurous for it´s time.... with a lot of females "aahhh" & "ooohhhss". the track "bodybuilding" was used on a few compis already...... but "the stripper" has much better breakdowns & the James Brown cover of "sex machine" is quite nice.... all together this is an interesting and well recorded record, with wah wah guitars and horns and nice recorded drums and lots of cover version, but actually not worth the price some sellers want for it, only because it´s a rare one.
Werner Müller - "bodybuilding"
STAFF CARPENBORG & THE ELECTRIC CORONA - "fantastic party" LP (MARITIM early 1970´s) this maybe the most outstanding german trip phuzz funk record...... and it says "the dance record for hot hours".... what they mean with it? a drug party? it´s sounds as they all went into the studio, had a big spliff and doing a jam session..... the whole record is written by Paul Bucher, but nobody knows about him or the band on the record..... hard to imagine that these were germans musicians under a monika...... it´s not an easy to find record, but you maybe get for 1,- euro on the fleamarket or have to pay a big price..... luckily there is a reissue out of it..... totally tripped out production and a must have!some tracks to listen to:

HELMUT ZACHARIAS and his ORCHESTRA - "what a wonderful world" LP (S*R INTERNATIONAL beginning of 1970´s) mostly a cheesy record but "naturally stoned" is for a cheesy record a quite nice track, james bond moods with driving rhythms.... and a nice trippy version of "hurdy gurdy man".... not very often seen...Helmut Zacharias - "naturally stoned"

PAUL NERO SOUNDS - "maxi rock" LP (LIBERTY end of 1960s) another amazing much more progressive funky record by Klaus Doldinger....... really nice uplifting tracks, but the winner is "i´m a man" in a 9 minutes version, which is really rockin´
BOTHO LUCAS SINGERS und die SOUNDMASTERS - "dannemann / zigarillo" 7inch (Dannemann Tanzparty early 70s)very rare promotional advertising 7inch by cigarillo-brand Dannemann in an gatefold prmotianal LP cover. this track was already used on DJ Hype´s & Katmandu´s Funkvergnügen Vol. 1 and you can find this track on the LP of Botho Lucas Chor & the Soundmasters on MFP Records in another version with different vocals in english in the beginning of the track. here on the 7inch there were spoken in german language. the other side features the nice easy uplifting funky scat-vocal track "dannemann".

ARMIN RUSCH - "electric dreams" LP (Karussell Records 1974)very unknown album by Armin Rusch for the keyboard brand YAMAHA and the Stratus Organ. Looks like one of this typical uninteresting organ promotion Lps, but here you can hear from the first track on, that the album is very well recorded and the drummer knows what to do and how to play in a phat recorded way (maybe the drummer could be stylewise Charly Antolini) .... the standout tracks are "soul drums" that is a killer spacy funk track with good drum work and breakdowns, "the blacksmith blues" is a fuzzy organ grinder mid tempo groover, "sweet fortune" is a again a killer moody organ grinder funk track..... "family affair" comes here in a midtempo very funky cover-version.... not easy to find strangely

BÖHM Records early 1972)the other interesting organ advertising album for the brand Dr. Böhm played by Ady Zehnpfennig. the track "easter afternoon" is a soft & silky mellow organ grinder track, which was used on the compilation "Puppet Jazz" on Sonorama Records.
Ady Zehnpfennig - "easter afternoon"
FRED RABOLD - "tanzparty mit Orchester" LP (private - early 70s)very cheesy looking but uknown private pressed album by german jazz musician and composer Frederic Rabold on Fred Rabold Musikproduktion. the standout track is "intercity" which is in a spacy chaser fuzz funk style and was featured on the "Puppet Jazz" - Compilation by Sonorama Records.

VA - "die grosse teenager-party" LP (FASS Records 196?)very good beat mod soul album with Gus Brendel Group & The Crazy Horses.
first thing you recognize is, that the drums are very fresh recorded and mixed only to the left side as normal for these days.
the tracks are quite groovy but the standout tracks are "honey-shaker" which has a Booker T. feeling, same kind of feeling on "take a shake" and "dear lover" is the killer...... with a very good horn riff and some nice bongos and of course guitars, bass and very good drumwork
Gus Brendel Group - "take a shake"
THE BILLY HOWARD ORCHESTRA - "party-hits von heute" LP (VOGUE Records 197?)very undiscovered easy schlager LP, which came out with a different cover under Bert Loska & the Golden Party Band on Populär Records, with a very cool funky instru-version of "come together" and the stand out, funky organ track on this album "black venus" with good horn arrangements, composed by Bert Loska & Stefan Laube, who did also the easy soundtrack porn LP ENGELCHEN & BENGELCHEN "petting".
